Hi my name is Annabel. I am from New Zealand. I love cute animals, art and food. My favourite animals are puppies, rabbits and foxes. My favourite food is chocolate/biscuits sushi and burritos with stuffing. Things I like about art are the colours and sketching I really like DRAWING!!!
TERM 1 In term 1 we did Waterwise, some art and CAMP At Waterwise we had to sail, kayak and talk about sailing (theory) At first sailing was quite hard but then through the lessons it got easier and easier but with kayaking I had done it many times before with my family so it was way easier than sailing. With the talking about sailing it really makes me learn quite alot about it so I enjoyed it.We only did a little of art last term what we did was a name frame. What we had to do was get a huge piece of paper and decorate a border around it. Then you laminate it and pin it up on the wall and in the middle put all your work you have done up there. CAMP. At camp I had so much fun. We did heaps and heaps of activities. First we did some class activities and that was really fun but then we got into some harder activities. One of the harder activities we did was Abseiling. No it is not the thing you do in a boat this is completely different. What you do is you get all harnessed up then you put a helmet on. There is a long steap wall and you have to hold on to the ropes and walk down horizontally kind of. Then there is another activity called stack'em and that is really fun. With stack'em you always have to be harnessed up and what you do after that is you have one crate you have to stand on and there is a person that have to pass the other crates to you. You have to clip the crate on to the crate below and then stand on top and you have to get as high as you can until you topple over. But before you start everyone yells 321 stack'em
our topic this Term is CHANGE
This term we are learning about change. Some of the things we have done about change are ... we did a describe and define map about it and we had to write as many words about change we could think of. Last week we went to the Maritime Museum. At the Maritime Museum we went to the gallorys and in the gallorys were heaps of boats and paintings and things like that most of the things that wre in the gallorys were things to do with the sea. Then we watched a movie about a boat that goes sailing in the sea and there is a huge storm and a boy has a pet pig and then the next morning there is a tsumami but no one dies apart from the pig. Next term Mrs Winstone said we a going to be doing some ART!!! I think. I think this term has been really fun learning about CHANGE And boy I have really learnt alot about change I really did not know there was so much things that could change.
Thisn term we made some parachutes since our topic is structure.
